Camping Pointe St Gilles****
Benodet is located on a picturesque south facing bay and this campsite is recognised as one of the best in Finistere, with a great swimming pool complex and waterslides.

The campsite is located on the point which is just a ten minute walk from town, with a small beach directly opposite. The main beach is an easy stroll away, with dozens of other great beaches closeby.

The high standard of facilities on the campsite brings many clients back again and again. It’s lively, with plenty of evening entertainment for families during July and August held in the bar area. There’s also a sports and games area to the rear of the campsite with tennis courts, a sports course with different exercises to try, a football field and games area. An excellent choice for families with children of all ages.

Camping Pointe Saint Gilles provides many activities that will make your holiday unforgettable.

Children’s Play area: This is a sandy area with a slide, a swing,a roundabout and wooden climbing frames. Benches have been provided so that parents can watch them playing..

Children’s Club: The ‘Sunny Club’ is open during July and August (Monday to Friday – half a day each day) and is open to children between 4 and 12 years of age. There are lots of different activities for them to do, juggling, hand crafts. treasure hunts, beach games,balloon scuptures, etc.

The ‘Funny Park’(entrance fee): Children will love this! Bouncy castle, trampoline, mini-golf, ice creams, pop-corn and candy floss. You can also hire kayaks and bikes here.

The Sports Field: All your favourite sports in one place. Football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, boules, badminton... the sports field allows teens to practise all these activities and many more too. It is accessible all day along and is also the place for tournaments in the afternoon in July and August organised by their sports coach. Entrance in free.
There is also a tennis court  (8€ per hour) and mini-tennis (4€ per hour)

The Fitness Centre: While on holiday at Camping La Pointe saint Gilles don’t miss out on your fitness routine! Use their well equipped fitness room and gym (rowing machine, exercise bike,  treadmills) – Access is restricted to persons over 18 and payable
Alternatively, join their sports coach for an intensive step session once a day in July and August (free activity).

Your evenings: at the Bar Saint-Gilles - Festive atmosphere guaranteed!
The friendly atmosphere of the bar is a good place to relax in the evening. During July and August you can join in with the entertainment programme, which caters for families of all ages: country music, karaoke, family discos, magic shows, cabaret and quiz nights. During May, June and September there is entertainment usually twice a week.

Take away: The take away offers a wide choices of take away foods to eat back at your mobile home.
From the traditional snack: ice creams, sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, sausages, cold drinks...to local cuisine: mussels, couscous, paëlla, grilled meat. A great help if you don’t want to cook, or if you need something extra, such as chips, for a BBQ.

Restaurant: If you prefer a sit down service, then the campsite restaurant is the place to be! There is the same choice of dishes as the Take Away, but you can sit down in a convivial room  and be waited on.
They also serve continental breakfast in the morning.

The Supermarket: The shop is open every day. It sells, amongst other things: Bread, baguettes and croissants... Vegetables and grocery items... Milk, butter, eggs, delicatessen... Household items and toiletries... Newspapers (French / English) souvenirs

The Swimming Pool Complex: There is a large heated indoor/covered pool with water slides, as well as an outdoor heated swimmingpool with a running river, water slides, paddling pool and sun bathing area.
