Useful Information

Our experienced sales team will help you choose the most suitable sailings available for the campsite you are booking. We are always happy to advise on which campsites are in the region you want to visit and ferry crossings that should enable you to reach your campsite in good time.
The holiday availability is constantly changing, so we always advise you to book the ferry and Mobile Home at the same time. Please telephone us as we can assist in matching these two important elements together. Calls may be monitored for training purposes.

All communication from us will be sent by email. It is the client's responsibility to check carefully the details confirmed to them and inform us immediately if corrections need to be made.

Outdoor Furniture

Most Mobile Homes on the featured campsites have decking and outdoor furniture but please check the individual descriptions of your chosen Mobile Home as this can vary between campsites and grades of Mobile Home.

Tourist Tax
Tourist tax is paid direct to the campsite on arrival. It is currently an amount of less than one Euro per adult per night - children free.

A comprehensive inventory is provided in each Mobile Home. This includes duvets or blankets, pillows, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
Please remember to take with you sheets, duvet covers, pillowslips and towels unless you want to hire and your chosen campsite provides that service (for a charge).

At the time of going to press there were no requirements for inoculations or Visas imposed by the French Authorities on U.K. travellers with a British Passport. Visit to check the latest information. Non British (or non E.U.) passport holders, may require a Visa. Contact the French Embassy in London for guidance.
A full passport, valid for the duration of your holiday, is required for each party member - infants included. Visit for further information. We recommend you travel with an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) which gives reciprocal medical care in France - this is not a substitute for health insurance. Visit (tel: 0191 218 1999) for further information.

Arrivals and Departures
Please plan your journey to arrive at your chosen campsite during the arrival times they have specified, usually between 4pm and 7.30pm (French time). Refer to your chosen campsite for permitted check in times, and if you are likely to be arriving later then please advise the campsite direct. Check in at the main Reception Office unless advised otherwise. If you arrive after the main gate closes (usually 10.30pm) you’ll need to park outside the site and walk through to your accommodation.

Flights and Car Hire
There are several airlines that fly to many airports in France. It’s quick and easy to book online direct.
You’ll need to hire a car at your destination airport. Please ensure your flight allows you enough time to collect your hire car and to arrive at the site before the Reception Office closes. We have lots of links to airlines, car hire, route planners and much more on our website.

Breakage / Damage Waiver
Campsites charge a damage deposit that is paid on arrival - this varies according to campsite and can be between 200 and 300 Euros. This is refunded less any charges if there has been breakages/damage during your stay or refunded in full if nothing to report.

Swimming Trunks/Pools

Generally, campsites do not permit long shorts in their swimming pools. Please take swimming trunks for all males who wish to use the pool facilities. Specifically designed two part male swimming shorts with minimal leg length (e.g. 5cm) are usually acceptable. Most campsites charge a (refundable) deposit for armbands and barrier cards which control access to pool areas and vehicle access to the site. Campsites do not usually have lifeguards on duty.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents at all times. Please supervise your children, particularly on waterslides where height restrictions may apply. Some swimming pools and/or waterslides may be closed for part of the day, even in high season. Facilities are used at the clients own risk.

Departure Delays

We arrange your ferry to France using the scheduled services of your chosen ferry operator (or Eurotunnel). The transport element is subject to the carrier’s terms and conditions, which may be downloaded direct from their website.
You must observe the minimum reporting time for your scheduled departure time (usually 45 mins) and the carrier’s staff will deal with your check-in at the port. Occasionally, services may be delayed or interrupted by adverse weather conditions and/or technical problems, etc. If an interruption occurs which is likely to cause you serious delay, we will try to advise you as soon as possible, and will do our utmost to make alternative travel arrangements to minimise any inconvenience. If you intend to take a mobile phone with you, please let us know the number and keep it switched on during your outward as well as your return journey.
We don’t accept liability for extra travelling expenses and/or additional hotel costs which might arise as a result of an interruption to a scheduled public transport service.
