One of the best sandy beaches in Finistere stretches from Beg Meil to Mousterlin. Beg Meil is a pretty seaside village with restaurants, shops, cafes and children’s beach club in high season. Camping Atlantique is a family run site situated in green fields beside an area designated as a nature reserve, located close to the towns of Concarneau and Quimper.
It has a fabulous waterpark with large and small waterslides, providing endless fun for children of all ages. (Restricted opening hours during low season.) Within the swimming pool complex is a good sized indoor pool. The kid’s activities in July and August are great. There’s archery, pool games, football, waterpolo, competitions and more. There’s direct access via a footpath to a fabulous beach, drenched in sand and stretching as far as the eye can see, with no roads to cross or cars in sight. Perfect for sunbathing, swimming or windsurfing.

Campsite News The children’s activities organised by the campsite are excellent – archery, football, water-polo, aqua aerobics, ping pong tournaments, juggling, pool games and much more. There is a magnificent indoor play area for children, with a bouncy castle on one side and a massive climbing frame on the opposite side - large enough for several dozen children to explore at the same time. For adults, not far from the covered pool is a very modern purpose made ‘Well Being’ Centre - the “L’Archipel” - with Sauna, Hammam, Gym, etc. The Swimming Pool Complex covers a large area and there is plenty of room for sunbathing and relaxing around the pools.
