This fantastic campsite at La Palmyre, Les Mathes, just a short distance from Royan has its own amazing Aqua Park. Four ‘Giant Waterslides’ between 10 and 12m high, as well as a quadruple slide so that four members of the family can slide down together! There is an outdoor pool and a large heated covered pool, rapid river, waterfalls, fountains and many more water delights. It has been said that this is the best Aquaparc in the region and can only be used if you are staying on the campsite . As well as all these water based activities, there is a restaurant, bar & shop, plus a full range of organised activities throughout the main high season including the evenings. Young children will enjoy visiting the ‘mini farm’ & getting to know Esméralda the goat and her many companions.
The emplacements here are sandy and set in a pine forest clearing, only one car is permitted by each mobile home. For safety reasons BBQs cannot be used beside your mobile home, there is an area of the campsite that is set aside for BBQs. Unless otherwise noted, all the Activities and Facilities of the campsite are available throughout the time that our mobile homes are available for hire. This region has vast forests with wonderful cycle paths through it and long stretches of sandy beaches backed by the pine forests. Nearby La Palmyre Zoo is set in 44 acres of pine forest and provides habitat for more than 100 different species.
